Job Description

Highmark Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Superintendent for our Layton Utah region. The Assistant Project Superintendent will help take on the management of key projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. Multi Family Construction experience preferred.

Their development and construction achievements have included single family residential housing developments, multi-family housing complexes, commercial development projects, and commercial building projects.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities would include but not limited to:

  • To assist the project superintendent in the completion of the assigned projects;

  • To manage Highmark Construction’s foreman to insure quality construction per specifications;

  • To manage sub-contractors, vendors, and employees;

  • To implement the production schedule that maximizes labor efficiency and Company expectations.

Qualifications

General Requirements are:

  • A high school degree or equivalent

  • 2 years construction experience

  • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project or equivalent construction management software;

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both through verbal and written means;

  • Looking for an organized, out-going individual who is comfortable meeting new people and being in unfamiliar situations.
